31/05/2026: We stayed at the hotel several months ago, and the bar more recently. The hotel and restaurant were impeccable. The location was superb, and the staff were friendly and professional. However, the bar (with its glass roof) was a disaster. We ordered cocktails in the evening, and they cost €15 for pre-mixed drinks with no attempt at presentation whatsoever. Then, on another visit, we ordered ice cream (which was listed on the menu without any explanation) on a Sunday afternoon. The response was, "Not possible, the kitchens are closed." But they served ice cream to a table near us "because they had ordered earlier" (and they waited 30 minutes for their precious ice cream). Then we asked for a glass of white wine. They were out of white wine. On a Sunday afternoon in a hotel/bar/restaurant of this size, there's no white wine? The staff, while very friendly, seemed helpless. There is clearly a problem with the bar's offerings and organization, which is, after all, the primary showcase of this luxury hotel.
