Based on the photos, we were expecting a less dated interior.
But anyway, that's not the most important thing.
The service was absolutely impeccable, professional, perfect.
However, the problems started:
We arrived at 7:30 pm at 3 pm.
There were two tables for two, one of which had already had its appetizers finished.
We ordered cocktails.
And then: foie gras!
The menu listed foie gras, side dishes, etc.
It was PAN-SEARED foie gras, and this wasn't mentioned at all!!!
We don't particularly like it, so it was a huge disappointment. THIS SHOULD BE INDICATED!
And then what? In total, we had an aperitif and a starter in 2 hours.
The small restaurant filled up.
They served starters to everyone.
And we didn't get our main course until 9:30 PM.
TWO HOURS for the main course! Not exceptional, okay, in short, nothing special.
Dessert: cheese, obviously that goes quickly.
So, 7:30 PM / 10:20 PM, almost 3 hours, that's way too long.
If you come with children, even 8 or 9 years old, for Grandma's birthday, it would be hell.
So, for us, disappointed, LOOOOOOONG, and in the end, meh.
For €220 for 3 people, no thanks.

We had a wonderful evening there on Friday, March 6th. It's truly a fantastic place where you savor every dish. The waiter was very pleasant and efficient, and the food was delicious. A place to remember.

This is an establishment we didn't stumble upon by chance. The owners (two brothers, each with their own role: the kitchen and the dining room) previously had a restaurant in Beaumont-sur-Sarthe, and their establishment had a very good reputation. The quality of the cuisine is evident in their new location.
There is only one set menu, with a deliberately limited selection. Every dish offered is consistently excellent. Enjoy this cuisine; it will delight you.

It was a pleasure to rediscover these two culinary professionals in an even cozier setting, just outside Le Mans. I was delighted to introduce my daughter to the creative creations of these two brothers. She thoroughly enjoyed the snail crêpe and the roast venison, while I savored the scallops in angel hair pasta and the pan-fried veal. The dark and white chocolate entremet with lemon sorbet was delicious and perfectly balanced. A wonderful gastronomic experience!
