Pastelaria Belem sur Paris

A little piece of Portugal hidden in Paris. I 100% recommend it for lunch, a superbock, a coffee, or a pastry. The place is super pleasant and the manager is very friendly.

It's still the best Portuguese pasteis de Nata, the best address in France and other Portuguese specialties. On the other hand, a coffee for 1 euro and 70 cents is expensive and always a big difficulty to park but hey it's not the fault of the manager but those who want to go there by car it's very complicated to park.

The (little custard tarts 😅) are truly excellent: the filling is very soft and the pastry is crispy and incredibly light. 😋 At €2.50 they're not cheap, but they're really, really good 👍🏻

I recently bought some Pasteis de Nata and was disappointed; they didn't taste the same as before. Has the recipe changed?

Absolutely delicious, and the lady is so warm and eager to share her culture. A very pleasant late breakfast this morning.

Family-run business, café, caterer, Portuguese products. The manager is always welcoming.

I'm writing this review while I'm still sitting at my table. A wonderful little slice of Portugal in Paris. A very cozy café, pleasant and calm atmosphere, the owner is very welcoming, and the decor is lovely with the azulejos tiles and the pretty mural (it almost makes me nostalgic for my Portuguese childhood, even though I've always lived in Paris).
