Patàpain sur Angouleme

I'm sorry I had to remove a star because the servers are incredibly kind and welcoming, the pastries are delicious, and the decor is lovely. The reason I'm taking away a star is that no one dares to reprimand the inconsiderate people who think they can get away with anything... This is the second time I've been here, and both times I've encountered this woman on a video call with her daughter, with the volume at full blast. We could hear the entire conversation, and she was shouting. No one came to tell her to turn it down. We had to go outside to find some peace and quiet.

I come here often and I wanted to give a shout-out to Clément because he's very friendly, kind, and polite. A very good salesperson. Thank you to him for making our time enjoying a delicious pastry.

The young employee gave us a super friendly welcome this morning, the service was quick and, above all, cheerful. It was really pleasant.

The breakfast menus are different from what's displayed on the door at the counter with the waitresses. Plus, it's around €5.70 for a tasteless Americano where you only get three sips, a small piece of bread cut the wrong way and toasted without being asked. The chocolate croissants are okay, but the cappuccino is equally tasteless. I wouldn't recommend it.

I love Patapain! A loyal customer for three years now, I still enjoy coming here to work or simply to enjoy lunch or afternoon tea with friends. The menus, and especially the pizza menu, offer excellent value for money. They are generous portions, affordable, and I have never been disappointed by the quality of the ingredients. The pastries and viennoiseries are also very good and reasonably priced. They regularly have special offers, and I can rarely resist them! The staff is always welcoming, smiling, and helpful. A big thank you, by the way, to the young man who kindly helped me carry my box of pastries to my table when my hands were full. I recommend this place without hesitation!

Hello, I don't understand why the waitresses don't use tongs to serve the cakes. It's unhygienic to have fingerprints on the pastries (I've already mentioned this to the staff). Have a good day.

Today I went for coffee with my son, and I ordered a donut 🍩. It's not a donut anymore; the chocolate melted in the heat and it went bad. I asked the waitress, and she said it wasn't a problem, there was nothing she could do, not even put it in the fridge, because of food preservation. It's not good. 🤔
