A very beautiful pastry shop...with very good cakes.

I went on Saturday morning. I bought 3 small 3-chocolate cakes, a strawberry cake for 4 people, and 2 penguins. The latter were very dry...a little disappointed.

Accustomed to enjoying a pastry with coffee or tea when we come to Lens, we were very surprised by the bill. A decaf coffee was €3.40, outrageous for a city like Lens. What a shame, we won't be back.

We've been coming here regularly for years. The hunter's bread is delicious with a good pâté or other tasty dishes! We love the pastries. The "tigré" (a type of chocolate cake) with its delicious ganache is a real treat every time it's available! The establishment is especially renowned for Mr. Jranson and his mastery of chocolate. We adore getting the "rocher" (chocolate rock). It might seem expensive, but it's absolutely delicious! And after that "rocher"... we won't eat anything else 😅 The saleswomen are very helpful, kind, and attentive! We've also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jranson several times. Despite his talent, he remains approachable and wonderfully down-to-earth. This establishment is a real asset to our struggling town.

Beautiful pastry shop with stunning creations. Excellent chocolate shop. This January, don't hesitate to order the chocolate croustigalette (order in advance, of course), it's a feast for the eyes and the palate.
