The service is pleasant, the terrace is lovely, everything makes you want to come back because the food is very good, homemade, and the craft beers are excellent. And speaking of prices, frankly, it's very affordable. In short, we'll gladly return next time. Thank you to the whole team!

25/09/2026: This is the first time I've ever had such good potschvleesh in a pub, not to mention the excellent locally brewed beer. I usually keep these kinds of places to myself, but the owner was so friendly that I had to share. Enjoy without moderation, but only share with true friends 😂🤣

27/09/2026: Following a sporting event, we went to this restaurant on a Sunday at lunchtime after checking its overall rating… and it was well deserved! Our table was set up on the outdoor terrace since the weather was sunny and still summery, but the owner was kind enough to ask if that was alright with us. A high chair was offered for a young child and a booster seat for a slightly older one, and the parasols were adjusted—perfect! Once we were seated and the menus were handed out, the owner literally explained the origin of the poultry, the fresh produce, the fact that 98% of the menu items are homemade (except for the ice cream and donuts), and the fact that they work with local suppliers—we approve! Half of our group was there just for a drink, but, charmed by the menu, the ladies all stayed to eat with us! Upon arrival of the dishes, it was immediately clear that the quality was excellent. The promise was fulfilled, and we devoured every last bite (I chose the quarter of grilled yellow chicken with thyme, a true delight). The waiter even checked during our meal to ensure we were satisfied and if we needed anything else. Then came the desserts, and the same was true – no one was disappointed (French toast-style brioche, vanilla ice cream, salted caramel: very good and well-balanced). The bill came to under €80 for two adult meals and one child's meal, including a small (and well-deserved) tip. We will gladly return to your restaurant if we are ever back in the Lens area. Please don't change a thing; it was perfect for us.

The decor is in the style of the mining region, with unusual items like Peugeot windmills and milk jugs. Recommendations: ▶️ The Welsh Chorizo ▶️ ​​The Welsh with sea trout ▶️ The Chicken with Maroilles cream sauce ▶️ The fries are homemade, but the green salad lacked dressing. In short, I recommend this restaurant because the value for money is very good. For five of us, we paid €79, ordering only main courses. My rating: 17/20
