We got here by chance and it was a super nice experience. Imagine that you lunch on a terrace on a sunny day and while waiting for your meal, you can even go back and forth between your table and the church.

A long-standing Colmarien tea room. Always pleasant to sit on the terrace for a coffee and a pastry at the foot of the Saint Martin collegiate church.

The pastries were very good but the service was a little special. It took several long minutes before anyone spoke to us (even though there was no one in front).

Very poor cappuccino, it didn't taste good or look good, the desserts were good, I spent €12 for 2 cappuccinos, 1 white milk and 1 pain au chocolat.

Je m'y suis rendue à plusieurs fois. Les pâtisseries me font replonger dans mon enfance, pas de chichi, de vraies tartes aux fruits comme ma grand-mère les préparait. L'accueil est différent à chaque fois,car ce n'est pas les mêmes serveuses qui me servaient. Si beaucoup critique leur manque de sourire, c'est peut-être un reflet de celui du client 🤔... À méditer ! J'y reviendrai.

I have been there several times. The pastries take me back to my childhood, no fuss, real fruit tarts like my grandmother prepared them. The welcome is different each time, because it's not the same waitresses who served me. If many criticize their lack of smile, it is perhaps a reflection of that of the customer 🤔... Something to think about! I will come back to it.

19/09/2024: We spent a nice lunchtime here, enjoying multiple delicious dishes. Calming location next to the small Lauch stream in the late summer. Despite the location next to the pier where the small tour boats take off, this turned out to not be a tourist trap.
15/09/2024: We didn't have an exceptional time. The staff is not very friendly. I ordered a Munster cordon bleu, the first waiter served me a forester which was not bad but it was not what I had ordered. I made the comment to the first who replied that that's what was written on the voucher, the second brought me a pot of sauce but the two mixtures weren't that. I would have appreciated a gesture on my bill at the end of the meal or my free coffee but nothing at all. The dishes are quite expensive, it's not bad but I expect more quality of service for the price
