A must-visit in Barr. The tea room is quiet and air-conditioned. Always a warm welcome from Aurore and her team. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend it :).

If you're passing through Barr, I highly recommend stopping by this wonderful bakery. Settle in, order a drink, and most importantly, a pastry or viennoiserie. You'll receive a very warm welcome, with friendly staff and helpful advice. Plus, if you go now, you might even have the chance to win a World Cup ball—either a small one like ours (we were the first to win a prize) or a large one. Furthermore, for our return trip to Normandy, we ordered an assortment of pastries and pretzels because, apart from the classic butter croissant, we don't have nearly as many options in our region as we do in Alsace. Having lived there for a long time near Haguenau, it's always a pleasure to rediscover these specialties and savor them. Especially since this establishment offers a wide selection of excellent quality. Well done! We'll most likely be back on our next vacation. I come here from time to time for breakfast. The pastries are very good, as is the kougelhopf.
