Patisserie Palanque sur Vence

You can't go wrong: Palanque pastry shop is simply a Vence institution. For lunch, it's clearly the best snack spot in town, with an impressive selection: a variety of sandwiches, fresh salads, quiches, pizzas, and hot dishes… all at very reasonable prices. You'll always find something to satisfy your cravings, whatever your mood. And of course, it's impossible not to mention the famous Vençois cracker, a true local institution, a must for food lovers. Not forgetting the traditional baguette, which delights us every day with its quality and taste. A place you'll always return to with pleasure, whether for a quick lunch or a more leisurely treat. A sure bet!

The leek quiche pastry was slightly undercooked underneath and slightly burnt around the edges. The pain au chocolat was good overall, but not up to the standard of an artisanal bakery. I'm giving it 3 stars because, while not bad, this bakery can do better!

The shop is superb and immediately inviting, while the products are always fresh and of high quality. Whether it's sandwiches, daily specials, or pastries, everything is delicious, with a special mention for their famous craquelin, simply unmissable. Discovering this exceptional establishment... it brought back childhood memories. The staff and management are very pleasant. Always smiling. A place where sunshine reigns in the soul. I feel compelled to add, after reading some comments about frozen pastries... lol... "Competitors" unhappy with the establishment's excellent reputation, it's impossible otherwise. Or perhaps these people have absolutely no palate or taste buds. Delighted to have come to Vence and discovered this gem for my taste buds. Thank you.

I recently discovered Palanque pastry shop and it's a real gem! Everything is made with care, and you can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients. But a special mention goes to their craquelin: a true marvel! Perfectly crispy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside, with a delicate and balanced flavor… it's clearly their specialty and worth the trip alone.
