The best Bahn-mi in the neighborhood and amazing cakes

We were able to sample so many things at this Vietnamese food stall. They have various cakes, sweets, snacks, drinks, and other typical Vietnamese street foods. We were particularly impressed by the Takoyaki sandwich with cucumber, carrot, spicy sauce, and other ingredients, as well as the durian sweet, the sesame ball and anko mochi dough, the yuzu cream mochi, the large matcha-infused green sponge cake shaped like a closed drum, the vegan gyoza with their surprising hints of spice, the fried rolls filled with rice and rice paste wrapped in seaweed, and the rice cakes filled with spinach. My only complaint is that the spinach and rice cakes were a bit too hard.

First visit to Pâtisserie de Saison, and what a wonderful discovery! 💫 I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of products offered, all homemade on-site. The value for money is simply unbeatable, and everything looks so tempting. It's hard to know where to start, everything seems so delicious… and after tasting, I can confirm: everything is excellent! I was greeted by the incredibly kind and warm manager, with a real flair for business and a generosity that makes all the difference. You can immediately feel her passion, her desire to please, and her wish to share her expertise. The rest of the staff is also very attentive and contributes to creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I had been craving a bánh mì for a long time. The neighborhood is full of places that offer them, but this shop immediately caught my eye. Seeing the quality of the baguette, from an artisanal bakery—golden brown, crispy, and light—I knew I hadn't made a mistake… and I was right! I tried the crispy chicken bánh mì, prepared right in front of me, as well as the lemongrass chicken bánh mì. Watching the sandwiches being made to order is a real bonus. Without a doubt, it's the best bánh mì I've ever tasted. The bread is exceptional: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and all the flavors are perfectly balanced. The sandwiches are generously filled, made with high-quality ingredients, and so substantial they could almost feed two people. A real plus: the chicken used is halal, which is a big plus. I also really enjoyed the self-service sauce bar, which allows you to add chili or other sauces to your liking. An excellent idea that allows everyone to personalize their sandwich to their liking. This place isn't just about bánh mì. You'll also find delicious bao bás, a wide selection of homemade pastries and desserts, beautiful custom-made birthday cakes, and a small grocery section offering carefully selected products. It's a true invitation to discover new flavors. I especially loved the melon pan, absolutely delicious, which you can also top with ice cream 🍦 for an extra touch of indulgence. The pandan chiffon cake 🍃 is incredibly moist. Special mention also goes to the brioche, baked on-site, which had just come out of the oven: super fluffy, incredibly melt-in-your-mouth and light, a real treat to enjoy while still warm. Finally, I finished with the half-matcha, half-black sesame ice cream. A real surprise! It's not too sweet, very fragrant, with a smooth texture and surprisingly rich flavors. The black sesame sometimes evokes notes of chocolate 🍫 or peanut 🥜. A true delight! Behind each of their products, you can feel genuine expertise, a great deal of passion, and a real commitment to quality. The shop is impeccably clean, and everything is perfectly maintained. In my opinion, this is one of the must-visit spots in Paris's Chinatown. It embodies a true culinary tradition, a know-how that is passed down through generations, and an authenticity that you can feel in every product. Even though this shop is several kilometers from my home, I will return with the greatest pleasure. Between the exceptional quality of the products, the generous portions, the artisanal expertise, the warm welcome, and the attention paid to customers, this place is well worth the trip. A true gem that I wholeheartedly recommend!

Very good banh mi. Friendly staff.

First time I have seen seafood options, a little bit on the expensive side for bahn mis in the area. You have to wait about ten minutes but I think it’s worth it. Will need to try a second time to be sure and try their numerous desserts.

Often there is a long wait, even for cakes ordered well in advance.

Everything is very good, it's a shame the prices are so high.

Excellent black sesame ice cream, among other things

It was incredibly crowded and the queue was really long. As for the Banh Mi Special, I found it a bit too greasy and rather bland. The pickled carrots also lacked flavor. Overall, it was pretty average.

The pandan tiramisu is amazing and I highly recommend the spicy beef Banh Mi – it's to die for!
