Initially I wanted to go to a bakery that I won’t mention but no pastries on sale… So I went to the Soudout bakery. And I was not disappointed! Very nice seller, very friendly atmosphere and very good pastries.

I have been frequenting this independent establishment for several years (it's a pleasure!), every time I pass through Metz station at lunch or snack time. (Also a good idea to take a snack quality on the train.) 👍

A stone's throw from the train station, I came across this coffee shop. Of course I couldn't help myself and tried the patisserie. A treat!

A small, discreet pastry shop but one of the best in town, their Lorrain pâté is in my opinion the best in Metz!!!

13/08/2024: lunch with colleagues very good dishes but still expensive for lunch break so that from time to time a formula for less than 15€ would be good otherwise you have to count between 20 and 30€ for a complete meal with drink without forcing
10/08/2024: Friendly place, staff too and the food is good quality. There is also a pleasant outdoor terrace

27/08/2024: Beautiful sign, to be redone of course! Quality and refined meat! The seasonings are excellent as well as the presentation! Tender and melting beef, light dessert like rum baba as well as citrus dessert! Beautiful wine list for wine lovers! Friendly service!
