Yes, it's a chain, but we are sometimes very happy to be able to count on what we already know, especially in winter in Amboise where the offer is reduced. The welcome is always impeccable and the garden at the back is a very pleasant little secret corner in the middle of the city.

For a breakfast prepared and served by a very kind and attentive young man. Delicious and hearty hot drinks. Very good pastries. Yes it's a little expensive but the quality and quantity is there. Nice setting, pretty glass roof.

Tres bel endroit pour déjeuner, au cœur d’Amboise en face du château, la vue est agréable, le personnel efficace et professionnel,ayant des allergies et intolérances on m’a tout de suite proposé un plat adapté. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

20/09/2024: Great place to pick up something quick to eat but still get great food! The quiche is terrific as well as the ham and cheese croissant. They heated both up for us. The apple and raspberry tarts we bought were a perfect small bite treat. Highly recommend!
12/06/2024: Lovely choice of pastries, open early for coffee and breakfast. Everything we ate was great.

auberge du Prieure Clos Luce Amboise

08/12/2024: Decouverte de cette auberge dans une ambiance médiévale. Les tables sont dressées à l'ancienne et les couverts ne sont pas faciles à utiliser. Q'importe le repas était excellent. Après la découverte des créations de Léonard de Vinci nous avons eu droit au gouter de Noel car nous étions 1 groupe de 100 personnes.
04/07/2024: Cet ancien prieuré situé au fond des jardins du Clos Lucé a de quoi surprendre. Nous sommes brusquement transportés quatre ou cinq siècles en arrière , servies par des serveuses ressemblant étonnamment à la laitière de Vermeer jusque même au visage . Le repas aux saveurs d’antan est extrêmement fin . C’est une vraie réussite.
