The welcome was warm. I appreciated the style of the restaurant. It's not very big, though.
I discovered the hard-boiled eggs with sake, which were very good. However, I was less impressed with the main course. The dish was well-balanced and very fresh, but I felt it lacked a sauce. Perhaps I should have ordered it with karaage. I chose the braised pork, but most of the pieces were filled with unpleasant, gelatinous bits that I had to remove.

It's good, even very good, and not too spicy. Several courses to choose from a limited menu, quick service, and generous portions if you want to try several dishes. Friendly service and a quiet atmosphere with an open kitchen. 4 courses + 1 sake for €40.

Peco Peco is a real gem. The whole team is absolutely lovely, from our wonderful waitress Emma to the kitchen staff. Everything we tried was delicious, and it’s such a refreshing change from classic Japanese restaurants. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. All of this for a very reasonable bill. We had a great night and will definitely be back.

The dishes were all good, small portions and tasteful. The fried chicken was very flavorful, the tofu skin sushi was delicious, and the eggs were also very good. The desserts were a pleasant surprise!
The servers were lovely! I recommend making a reservation for dinner, as it gets very crowded.
