Pedra Alta sur Pontault-Combault

Excellent seafood restaurant, the best in the whole area. I go there from time to time to treat myself and my wife, and we always leave very happy. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Regards

Very good, well served (perhaps too much so...) but as usual, too noisy, which is a shame. The staff were friendly.

The quantities are gargantuan, so it's best to go on an empty stomach.

We ate very well but there was far too long a wait upon arrival, especially since the upstairs dining room wasn't open, and yet customers were just arriving...

A great find! There was a bit of a wait at the entrance, no doubt the price of success... The major drawback was the tables being a little too close together 😫. You ask for a quiet table and you end up seated with families with unruly children. I would have appreciated it if the servers had come and calmed everyone down... rather than having to do it ourselves. A smile from some of the waitresses was appreciated, and others were very friendly. However, in terms of food and quantity/quality, you won't be disappointed; it's a place worth the detour 👍👍👍

Exceptional restaurant. I've been eating there for about fifteen years. I've never been disappointed, I highly recommend it.

August 19, 2026. It is regrettable to note that this visit to Pedra Alta, although not my first, was my first experience in Pontault-Combault, and it proved disappointing. Arriving at 1:45 p.m., the service was sluggish, requiring three requests for a carafe of water. At the end of lunch, after we had finished our seafood platter, the servers walked past our table without clearing it, despite their hands being free. Their attention seemed more focused on rearranging the tables, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy (and, moreover, no one greeted us upon arrival). We had to ask for the dessert menu. Our departure at 4:00 p.m. was followed by another request for the bill, which came to a hefty €148 for two. I am therefore very disappointed with the service provided by the three servers that day, especially since the restaurant wasn't full. One can legitimately wonder what the quality of service would be outside the summer period.

My partner and I went out for dinner and, as usual, we chose different dishes, but always seafood-based, since that's Pedra Alta's specialty. 🦐🦞 As always, we weren't disappointed: the dishes were generous, very hearty, fresh, and truly appetizing. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were excellent, and the portions were perfect for seafood lovers! It's a place we always enjoy and where we happily return. We highly recommend it! 👌✨

The food is very good. Parking is easy nearby. The prices are a bit high. The dining room is large, but the tables are very close together. It's a bit noisy.
