Pedra Alta sur Boulogne-Billancourt

Still as hearty and delicious as ever!

The staff were in a bad mood and therefore unfriendly. There were 13 of us, and the managers didn't seem very happy either.... The food was good, but the portions were excessive and it was extremely expensive. I've known Pedra Alta for years but had never been to the one in Boulogne... I won't be going back!

If I could give the service a zero, I would. Luckily, we go there for the food, which I know is good. Because the waiters are atrocious. The second-to-last time we went, they made really inappropriate jokes, got our orders wrong, and were unpleasant… Today we went back, they got our orders wrong again, but this time they took our dish away without explanation, without a word, even though we'd already started eating… We spoke to them in Portuguese, they answered in French, we spoke in French, and they pretended not to understand us… we're bilingual… The days of good service are long gone!!! For €100 for three people, a minimum level of service would be appreciated!

Quite a wait, almost an hour. Once inside, when we turned around, there was a queue all the way out onto the sidewalk... Usually, when it's a bad restaurant, there isn't a queue like that... In all honesty... The service was good, the waitress was smiling and bilingual (Portuguese/French). Once seated, we didn't wait very long for our food. Just enough time to enjoy a leisurely aperitif. The portions are generous, like back home. We ordered the duo set menu: two beef and prawn skewers, a pure delight... Our little ones were tempted by the children's meal (very generous), and of course, the fries were fresh, like everything else, but I wanted to make that clear. We finished our meal with a sweet treat.... Of course, the prices aren't like back home; we paid €110 for four people (two adults and two teenagers), without wine but with an aperitif and drinks for the children. I recommend this establishment; it felt like being transported back to our homeland for just two hours.... Don't change a thing!
