We liked the quantity, which is very generous. I had garlic shrimp which was a starter accompanied by fries (I asked for a portion for 1 person). It was very good and I even brought the rest back for the next day.

The dishes are plentiful and good, although the wait can be long and the service is sometimes impersonal and unsmiling. We felt like we were a little ignored at first as our table wasn't full. No one came to offer us a drink or an aperitif while we waited. On the other hand, the atmosphere of birthdays is lively, with all the staff in the room singing "Happy Birthday" in French and Portuguese.

We had a great time, pleasant service and not too long a wait. I gave 4 stars for the cuisine because there was a small downside on the cod fritters (there were quite a few bones) and for the rice (reheated ++) but for the rest, the prawns in pedra and the mixed skewer It was perfect. Perfect cooking of the beef and it was very tender, a treat. This is not the first time we have come here to Thiais and we are never disappointed.
