PeGast Casanova sur Paris

We reserved a table for two at 4pm and arrived at the restaurant around 3:50. They ask if you want to eat and show you to your seat. Perhaps because there were plenty of seats, they didn't even ask me if I wanted to make a reservation. We ordered beer, Aperol Spritz, beef cut(?), and carbonara. It didn't take long for drinks and food to come out. The beef was especially delicious, and I enjoyed the meal. The table next to us was talking from the time we walked in and was still talking until we left. Their food culture is so different from ours.

Good Italian restaurant even if the dishes were uneven. Great feedback for the pasta, however my dish of the day was very average. Selling simple white rice for risotto is abusive and three small prawns lost in a sauce, even pink, hardly makes a dish for a big eater. The desserts are rich.... very rich even. Smiling service, fortunately because the waiting time was a little long. Last point, it was very cold in the restaurant. I know that it is a general trend in Paris not to heat restaurant rooms but then providing a free soup is perhaps an idea :-) I will come back to try the pasta in the spring!

I found this place to be wonderful for a lunch and to spend time in afternoon, the staff is courteous and attentive.

Amazing place. Delicious authentic Italian food (seasoned San Daniele, Burrata, etc..). High quality and very reasonable prices, especially considering the zone in Paris. The service completes the experience. We interacted with 4 people, all very professional and friendly. If you come to Paris, it's definitely to try it.
