The ravioli were absolutely amazing… The appetizers were very good, and the portions were "normal" for a fine dining restaurant, which I didn't expect… the service was impeccable and very friendly. I highly recommend this affordable lunch experience! Thank you so much!

We absolutely loved dining here a few weeks ago - fantastic location (lovely stroll to the Eiffel tower) and top-notch service. We went for the fixed price lunch menu which was incredible value for money and delicious. One of our party is gluten intolerant and we were very pleasantly surprised to find out that most pasta dishes could be done gluten free. The sommelier, Massimo, presented us with a bespoke wine tasting to accompany our meals and it was spot on. We had our small dog with us too and they were very dog friendly. We can't recommend this restaurant enough, thank you Penati al Baretto!

Only in Paris did I truly understand that food can be a language, and taste — a form of intelligence. A perfect baguette is not just bread; it’s a philosophy baked into crust and air. Perhaps this is why the French don’t simply eat — they contemplate. And somewhere between the first bite and the last note of wine, I realized: I didn’t just visit Paris… I acquired a palate.

The setting is pleasant, and the food is very good (the pasta was delicious, the desserts much less so), but the value for money is poor. The downside is that we asked for the set menu and were told they didn't have one that day, even though the website states that this set menu, with prices much lower than the à la carte menu, is "Available from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive (excluding holidays and public holidays)." It was Saturday, and there were no holidays or public holidays. This is a problem.

LA TRATTORIA DELL'ISOLA

29/01/2026: An excellent pizzeria in Paris. All the staff are very friendly. The dishes are prepared with care, the atmosphere is very Italian, and there's a wide selection of Italian drinks, from beers to wines. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good pizza in the 9th arrondissement.
16/01/2026: I went to dinner with my family tonight. The place was very nice, and the owner was very kind and friendly. The pizza was good and reasonably priced considering Parisian prices.
