Beautiful restaurant with beautiful food. From the very beginning all through the end, the food keeps coming and you can really see attention is given to every detail. The pastas were simply amazing! Service was superb. If you are feeling Italian food in Paris, then this is the place!

Elegant restaurant whose hues of green velvet and oak set the scene for a relaxing yet fine dining experience. We have traveled extensively, including many trips to France and more than a handful of trips across Italy. The food at Penati ranks among the best we've had: earthy pasta with morels, a Venetian inspired pasta with baccala that was delicate and so evocative of Spring, and a Piedmont steak more flavorful and tender than any other steak we've had in Paris. Service was professional and knowledgeable and up to my wife's and my typical enthusiast's questioning when we like something (including about their small-growth Sicilian sourced olive oil). Put this restaurant on your itinerary.

Italian restaurant with original dishes and very refined cuisine. A young woman takes and presents the menus, and a very friendly and helpful sommelier offers excellent advice.

The service was impeccable, very polite, friendly, and attentive to the customer; it was very pleasant. The food was quite good, but given the price range, I expected dishes with even more excellent and remarkable flavors. The beef as a second course was unfortunately too salty; the restaurant gave us a discount on the bill as an apology, which was a very kind gesture. The setting is elegant, comfortable, and dimly lit, which is exactly what one looks for.

Everything was just majestic from the moment you enter the restaurant! Very nice greeting, amazing host and sommelier. I ordered Asparagus soup while we also had monkfish and pasta on the table, every single bite was just a pleasure and joy to taste. Must go place while in Paris! Reservation for pick hour would definitely be a must.

08/05/2026: The food is truly incredible — full of flavor and clearly made with care. The value for money in terms of quality and portion size is excellent, and the drinks were also very good. However, the service was quite disappointing, which is why I’m taking off two stars. First, they got my drink wrong. They did remake it, but insisted I was mistaken — which is frustrating, especially since I can clearly tell the difference between cow’s milk and oat milk (it’s literally my job). We also weren’t told “enjoy your meal,” which, while a small detail, still matters. To top it off, another customer left after waiting 10 minutes without anyone taking her order, even though three staff members were standing behind the counter chatting instead of attending to her. It’s a real shame the service doesn’t match the quality of the food.
07/05/2026: Everything was delicious!! Excellent value for money and the waitresses were super friendly. I highly recommend it.

19/04/2026: Great pizzeria! The pizza is delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. The dining area is fantastic, with a really great atmosphere.
