Jour de l'an, beaucoup de boulangeries fermées, nous avons trouvé celle-ci ouverte. Nous avons bu un café qui fut bon, par contre plus de viennoiseries à 10h00, ce qui est étonnant pour une boulangerie.

I take Mr. Perroudon's pastries every weekend. I haven't found any better in Lyon. Its croissant dough is exceptional and the Bognes with pralines rival those of Pralus.
Mr. Perroudon works ALONE. He has his way of being, he can be a little direct.
His wife does her best to serve customers alone.
People who allow themselves to say that the couple is unfriendly may need to ask themselves whether they themselves were being friendly or impatient.
I hope that Mr. Perroudon will pass on his great know-how to several apprentices so that we do not lose French know-how or benefit from industrial bakeries without soul or skill.
