Petit Ogre sur Lyon

Very good, creative cuisine with lots of flavor. A little spicy, but I really liked it. We had dinner with a starter, main course, and dessert. There were also some desserts available. The service was friendly.

A warm and genuine welcome. Creativity, surprises, and truly wonderful ideas. You'll undoubtedly share the enthusiasm of your table neighbors... and plan to return to explore the entire menu. A real gem!

A quick update with a lower rating for the service: I was just rudely shown the door when I came in to buy a gift certificate. Admittedly, it was busy, but you have to come during opening hours, and I don't live nearby. I would have accepted waiting a bit or being told politely, because I can perfectly understand, with a simple "I'm sorry, but it's too busy right now, perhaps you could come back a little later?", basic courtesy. I just got: "It's not the right time, come back after service!" No hello or goodbye, and the door slammed shut behind me... In short, I'm seriously considering buying my gift here after all. *** A wonderful discovery: dishes of great finesse and balance, a warm atmosphere, and a pleasant setting. Many thanks to Jules Niang for this lovely experience; we look forward to returning one evening for the next menu. A humble and talented young chef to discover immediately!

A little diamond near by Lyon Part Dieu.. walking distance. Service was great, food, amazing, price reasonable.. calm, friendly.. all we need and we want... just little input to renovate the basin and tap water in the bathroom..

Excellent experience: the dishes are rich in flavors that complement each other perfectly and manage to surprise. The service is seamless, with well-balanced portions. For the price, it's an experience well worth the trip.

Lunch was absolutely delicious. I had a main course and dessert, and everything was truly excellent. The service and atmosphere were pleasant. Remember to book ahead to be sure of getting a table, as it's not very big.

We came as a group of six on Saturday at lunchtime, invited to celebrate a birthday. It was a wonderful discovery of original and well-spiced dishes. The food was excellent. We loved it and will definitely be back.
