We had an exceptional time this Saturday lunchtime at the Excoffier Père et Fils restaurant, located rue de l'Exposition in Paris 7th. Warmly welcomed, there were three of us and we were delighted both by the quality of the service and by the cuisine. As a starter, the snails, perfectly seasoned, reminded me of the ones my mother prepared, a real treat. The poultry soufflé with morels that followed was equally excellent, and to finish, a sweet caramel soufflé, visually magnificent and tastefully perfectly balanced. Each dish was a pleasure for the eyes and taste buds. We had an unforgettable time and will come back very soon to discover other dishes. A must-see address!

We came with my sister for our birthday and what a great time we had!
A lovely lady was in charge of the service, she was very attentive but not too present.
Kindly, they agreed that we have a lunch menu and a signature menu.
All the dishes were excellent and the sauces went very well with it, a small mention for the starter and the appetizer based on tomato and burrata, as well as the tuna cerviche which were incredible.
The lunch menu changes regularly.
The prices are not unreasonable either: 36 euros for the lunch menu, main course and dessert.
I'm going back with my eyes closed and I highly recommend it.

Très joli écrin que ce charmant petit restaurant caché dans une rue discrète du 7ème arrondissement.
Une belle table à l'assiette bien maitrisée.
Menu "découverte" en six plats, classiques mais très bons.
Les ravioles sont excellentes, le ceviche très fin, mais manquant un peu de saveur et qui mériterait d'être un peu relevé, le poisson et la viande très justes et parfumés et le soufflé flambé au grand marnier parfait bien qu'un peu "liquide" .
Un service charmant et un rapport qualité/prix correct.
Bonne sélection de vins au verre.
Une belle adresse.....

In addition to the special preparation of the dishes, the chef and his entire team were wonderful, available and totally open to my requests.

Maybe it was an off night but when you pay for excellent quality you need to provide it continuously. In a nutshell the service seemed non existent to suddenly frenzied and while the signature Soufflés were interesting, the other items we tried, while well presented, did not match the rating as compared with others in this class. At 90 euros per person the Michelin value just wasn’t there.
