The restaurant is very well located. There's plenty of parking nearby. The service is quick, with friendly and attentive waiters, including one older man with glasses who was really very nice. As for the menu, the dishes we chose—a tartare and two salads, a Nordic and a Caesar—were very generous.

Very disappointed... there were three of us and we had a reservation for 7:15 pm. It was still very hot, and we would have gladly dined on the terrace, but there were no tables set. The waiter rushed to seat us next to a family with children, even though the restaurant was empty! The waiter was irritated, rushed, making inappropriate remarks, and the atmosphere was tense.
I ordered the braised ham hock. It wasn't braised at all, barely warm, and there was very little meat. The fries were frozen, and the green salad was old and wilted... had it been since noon?
So, no dessert. What a shame, I'd never been disappointed by La Taverne before!
