The establishment is warm but the service is very unpleasant only a waiter was able to receive us kindly with a smile. Apart from the unfriendly service I highly recommend the pizzas

chez Bruno est encore un des derniers restaurant de la Vieille époque avant que la ville bascule dans son époque moderne gouvernée par le luxe et l argent. Rien que pour ça allez y. vous y mangerez les meilleures pizzas de saint tropez à des prix de pizzas et pas à 45 euros comme son nouveau voisin et certainement pas meilleures. Un petit Voyage dans le temps avec une équipe sympa.

Been going here for years, and I have to say it’s one of my favorite pizzas on earth , if not my favorite, and I’m comparing it to pizzas all over Italy. The french touch on these pizzas really works.

A good pizzeria. We arrived a little late in the service for 6 people but we were properly received. Just time to clean and prepare the table. We all had pizzas and they were pretty good. Especially the one with truffle. Just the toilets upstairs which can be blocked for people with reduced mobility. Especially since they are not very wide. Not easy for people of my size.

Établissement familial. Accueil très correct. Service plutôt rapide. On nous a laissé le choix de la salle ou de l’extérieur, et également de la table. La pizza fruits de mer très bien garnie, avec cuisson correcte. Les liguines alle vongole très bonnes également. Les desserts sont maison en grande majorité, avec une tatin excellente et un vacherin qui tient son rang. Prix corrects. Nous ne regrettons vraiment pas notre passage annuel chez Bruno. Nous avons déjeuné le jeudi 9 mai.

22/08/2024: Real Italian restaurant on the Place des Lices. Delicious al dente scampi pasta and very well served! linguine with clams the same. For dessert, the rum baba with mascarporne cream is a must! Very pleasant terrace and excellent service. To do again!
17/08/2024: Expensive, pasta served cold and a lot of nonsense. But they treated us kindly.

20/09/2024: Didn’t realize that the entire pasta menu is egg-free pasta. I ordered the tagliatelle with truffle and was sadly disappointed by the noodles. It more closely resembled wide Asian rice noodles used in pad see ew or Chong fun. The service was great tho and the atmosphere was nice with outdoor seating in the alley.
19/09/2024: Nice service, great pizza and very good hand-cut tartare. The atmosphere is special and the alley is very narrow.
