The subtly salty water delighted our taste buds and reminded us of the idyllic town we were in and the beach we could admire through the window. Thankfully, there were no cabbages or zucchini to spoil the magic.

The calzone pizza was good; I dropped my knife, and the waitress brought me one immediately without me even asking. The homemade tiramisu was good, but a little runny. We had a table with a sea view.

11/06/2026: The rooms offer excellent value for money
11/06/2026: Bearing in mind this is a two star hotel. We were in an accessible room on the ground floor. It was a reasonable size with a large wet room. Room was clean and serviced daily. The restaurant offered an adequate continental breakfast and a typical menu based around pizza and mussels. Parking is on side streets but free. Three stars for location due to nothing to do within walking distance apart from the sea 200 yds away. Would certainly suit people travelling on the St Malo ferry giving them somewhere to sleep the night before.
