The service was very slow, though friendly. Their terrace is pretty and pleasant. The quality and flavor of the pasta were rather average. The pizza was better. A pleasant place, nothing more. A bit pricey for what it is. I think with a little more effort it could be much better.

We went for dinner. We had pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, and salad. Everything was delicious. By the way, they had chili-infused oil that gave the pizza a nice kick. We sat on the terrace, where it was 25 degrees Celsius with a gentle breeze. Very comfortable. The service was good.

Passing through Dax, we found this restaurant. I felt like I was in Italy. The meal was generous. We ate on the patio.

During our stay in the Landes region, we dined four times at the San Pietro restaurant in Dax, which is open seven days a week. We consistently found the same excellent ingredients: very good food, from pizza and pasta to burrata salad, fast, attentive, and friendly service. Spacious terrace. Excellent value for money. Our only recommendation: go!

17/07/2026: A very good experience at La Trattoria! The dishes are generous, prepared with quality ingredients, and full of flavor. The pizzas and pasta are excellent. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is efficient. However, a man (presumably the manager, as he said "my restaurant") started yelling at a group of young people and their activity leaders who were passing by because two of them walked between two tables. Given that the terrace was practically empty and the young people were quiet, no one seemed to mind them walking by. I recommend this place, hoping this doesn't happen regularly! 🍕🇮🇹
