Pizzeria San Remo sur Gerardmer

From the food to the service, everything was perfect and exactly what we asked for. The setting is pleasant, and the menu is appealing. We'll definitely be back.

Good value for money. Excellent meal. The pizza was good, a regular one and a mini one, both generous. The Vosges salad was generous.

Just a little disappointed with the foie gras, which was slightly overcooked, but otherwise a good restaurant and not too expensive.

A great find during our stay in Gérardmer! However, we did have a problem: pesto was on one of the pizzas we ordered, even though it wasn't listed on the menu, and the person who ordered it is allergic to it. The staff apologized, and the pizza was quickly remade without pesto. We appreciated their promptness.

An exceptional culinary experience. Delightful pasta with a Boconaise sauce. Finally, a warm goodbye with a pat for the cat named Stanislas. A special shout-out to our server: understanding, passionate, attentive, cheerful, and kind.

A wonderful discovery! The food was excellent, flavorful, and generous, just like the cocktails. The lamb shank was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the breaded escalope with mushroom sauce was a delight, and the spaghetti carbanara was delicious—very fragrant but not greasy! We loved it. The service was efficient and friendly.

We always stop at this restaurant once during our stays in Gérardmer. The welcome is pleasant, and the dining room is very beautiful (your ceiling is magnificent, even if that's not why we come, I'm mentioning it, lol). The food is very good and generous. It can be a little noisy depending on the other diners, as there are a lot of seats and people, but it doesn't prevent us from chatting with our tablemates.

Arriving at closing time and being greeted with a smile… that alone speaks volumes. We almost thought we were intruding—but instead, we were received like expected guests. Seated without the slightest hesitation, with a rare and genuine kindness. The kind of attention you never forget. And then the burrata bresaola pizza arrived… A true journey to Italy. The burrata melted in your mouth, incredibly fresh, the bresaola delicately flavored, the crust perfectly crisp and light… The balance was simply masterful. Each bite was a revelation. At 50, I had this astonishing—almost overwhelming—feeling of rediscovering pizza. As if I had never truly tasted it before. A taste sensation, elegant and generous all at once. Thank you for this timeless moment, for your warm welcome, and for this pizza that will forever be etched in my memory. Some places nourish the stomach… yours nourishes the heart too.
