Playa Miramar sur Le Grau-Du-Roi

First of all I might travel 6 hours from Saudi Arabia every month to Marseille to visit this place. Everything in this restaurant fantastic, tasty food & delicious, friendly staff & helpful, but they were little bit slowly in serving. But literally the food amazing even the appetizer it was very good of choices, the price very expensive for two persons.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. It's meant to be a gourmet restaurant given the prices but the waiters don't speak French, they speak informally.... Given the unemployment rate in France it would be good to hire French people.

Very pleasant time, the team is helpful and kind. We ate well and the setting was nice. I come to the region regularly, I will return.

Improvised New Year's Day meal while walking past. A little hesitant because of the location on the old port (tourist trap) but completely reassured and satisfied at the end of the meal. Perfect and attentive service and a treat for all the dishes.

Disappointing bouillabaisse for the asking price Amused mouth, means.... Overall correct but nothing more while the bill is steep....

The location facing the port, the welcome and the service absolutely nothing to complain about. The fish of the day, sea bream, was mainly accompanied by cubes of sweet potatoes... The accompaniment should enhance the fish and in the mouth the whole thing formed a pasty mixture from which none of the ingredients came out any better. The white wine by the glass is quite insignificant except for the price.

High-end but relaxed service, a perfect bouillabaisse, a breathtaking wine list... Considering the quality of the restaurant, the prices are justified. I don't understand the negative reviews I've read, for my part I can only say congratulations to the waiters, the sommelier and, of course, the chef Christian Buffa. I will return there with great pleasure and invite my friends to discover this great restaurant, a palace of Marseille specialties.

A Marseille institution. “Old-fashioned” welcome and service, therefore perfect, without ostentation. Fish soup! And the salt-crusted wolf! Bouillabaisse, it seems. is sublime, according to the guests at neighboring tables... Just like my memory from 20 years ago. I recommend a table indoors, less noisy than the terrace in winter Again, this Saturday evening March 16, 2024: the Miramar described above was stolen from us!! Where did the reception, butler and remarkable service go (clumsy goodwill made up for them). The fish soup is good, but then the bouillabaisse!! Overcooked fish, swimming in this soup. A good mention for the young sommelier. To escape, like Marseille, which has become unwelcoming, dirty (go park in the Bourse car park!!!), and worrying in the evening.

Perfect, very good cuisine for fish lovers. Very pleasant setting and attentive service, to do again!
