Plein Sud sur Martel

A beautiful and excellent pizzeria located around a lovely market square. The pizzas are generous and delicious. The Marteau pizza with Rocamadour cheese is hearty and so good you'll want to come back for more. Go without hesitation and enjoy!

Good restaurant, always ready to welcome you, excellent food and a great wait staff. I recommend it.

After our ride on the Haut Quercy train, we wandered the streets of Martel looking for a restaurant for lunch. We chose "Plein Soleil." The menu looked appetizing, the prices reasonable, and a table had just become available in the middle of a crowded terrace. We were so glad we did: we had a delicious meal, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was quick (while still allowing us to take our time), the waitresses were very friendly and smiling, and you could tell they were all in good spirits. It was lovely to eat in such a pleasant atmosphere! After an aperitif, my husband and I had aligot with Aveyron sausage. It was delicious and a generous portion. Our teenager ordered a burger with Limousin beef. What a burger! A huge patty, generous toppings... he couldn't even finish it! We also ordered a small cheese board, which was delicious and beautifully presented! However, we skipped dessert; we weren't hungry anymore. In short, a place I highly recommend.

Young and dynamic team, excellent cuisine, welcoming and attentive staff.

Far too crowded (as there aren't many restaurants in the area), customers mainly come for pizza; we ate at a small, wobbly table. Prices were reasonable.

We arrived around 1 p.m., they welcomed us, we were served quickly, the only downside was the duck breast: not cooked enough for our taste: the meat was pink, almost red, and wouldn't come away from the bone…

We didn't have a reservation and they took us right away. The dish was very generous and delicious. Excellent, friendly service, and they didn't get impatient. I highly recommend it.

The waitresses were in too much of a hurry to get the tables, so we had to eat quickly and couldn't really enjoy our meal.

Excellent restaurant! I came with a friend and we highly recommend the "burrata" and "plein sud" pizzas – delicious! The service was very good and quick. Thank you to Ange for the warm welcome!
