Poivre et Sel sur Blois

A downtown restaurant with rustic decor, offering fresh produce and homemade dishes. The service is friendly and young. One drawback: a sharing platter priced at €12 for industrially produced charcuterie.

The atmosphere and decor are great, the service is top-notch... A good time spent here, it's good and varied even if there is still significant room for improvement in the cuisine and the quality of the dishes.

The Valentine's Day menu was excellent, the food was delicious, the staff were welcoming, nothing to complain about, a very good place.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant; we went twice during our stay because we enjoyed our first visit so much. The varied and high-quality dishes, warm atmosphere, and impeccable service made it a highly recommended choice! Go without hesitation!

Beautiful setting. The tartare is excellent and the staff are lovely.

A pleasant stop. Great restaurant, the waiters and waitresses are friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The dishes are attractively presented and, what's more, very tasty! The only downside... the heating could be turned up a bit more.

I was quite surprised by the attitude of the service staff. There was a misunderstanding between the staff and the customer when the order was being taken. The customer had asked if he could have the vegetables (meaning a side dish) from another dish with his chosen one. The waitress agreed. The dish arrived exactly as it was listed on the menu. It seems the customer should have specified "other side dish" because the waiter (a man this time) stuck to his position without trying to understand. The waiter showed no politeness or consideration towards the customer. The bottom of the customer's red wine glass was full of sediment, which was pointed out to the waitress, who found it normal. When paying, this sediment was mentioned again. An explanation was given about this type of wine... Don't we check the state of the liquid when we pour it into a glass?! Clearly, kindness is not present in this restaurant and we won't pay any more attention to it than that.

I stumbled upon this place during a trip to Blois. The restaurant is beautiful, well-decorated, and the welcome was warm. The servers were very kind to us. The food is good, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it for dinner in Blois.
