We stopped in Blois between visiting Loire Valley castles for lunch and were fortunate that our tour guide recommended Poivre et Sel. What a great find. The charming outdoor patio was a perfect lunch setting, and the salads we ordered were absolutely delicious - rich, fresh, and very satisfying, especially paired with an excellent Belgian Trappist beer. Dessert was superb, and honestly, it was the best lunch I had during the entire week. Service was friendly, unpretentious, fast, and flawless. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Blois.

22/07/2026: Enjoyed the exceptionally delicious tarte tatin, the house specialty. We had never tasted one so good before. Friendly service and good coffee. Highly recommended!
21/07/2026: High-quality chocolates and cakes, and above all, incredibly delicious! I highly recommend them. The shop has locations in the center of Blois and Vineuil, which is very convenient for those living south of Blois.
