I tried this little neighborhood restaurant this lunchtime. A real gem! The food was absolutely delicious and the service excellent. The employees put love into their work and it shows! In addition, the small interior terrace is perfect for avoiding the heat. Given the beautiful collection of wines, it is certainly worth coming to try it in the evening!

Very good food. Satisfactory choice of dishes, quality of dishes and good quantity offered. Quality service as well, discreet, attentive and efficient. Very pleasant interior courtyard. In short, very good restaurant, I recommend and will return.

Dinner with friends on the interior terrace of this restaurant and it’s a nice surprise. A great welcome, fresh and tasty products, special mention for their desserts too. The proposals are sufficient to please as many people as possible. A lovely evening and a restaurant that I will introduce to my friends. I recommend 🤩

Le Bistrot Des Voraces

03/07/2025: A great place to stay in Croix-Rousse! The setting is warm, with a typical Lyon bistro atmosphere, friendly but not noisy. The dishes are generous, well-presented, and delicious—special mention goes to the tartare and daily specials, which are often original and well-executed. The service is friendly and efficient, even during busy periods. One small drawback: the prices are a little high for some dishes, but the quality is there. A great discovery for a meal with friends or as a couple!
12/06/2025: What a wonderful bistro. We didn’t book but managed to get an early table as walk in’s (do book). The food was simply excellent and clearly cooked by chefs who really knew how to treat the beautiful local produce. We wished we were staying longer as we no doubt would have eaten here many times. Also the wine list is excellent and our set menu (with lots of choice) was great value.

08/12/2024: Very good gourmet restaurant. Please note that it is open on a Sunday in Lyon during the Festival of Lights +++. Very good quality-price compromise 45€ per menu (see photos). The only downside is that the room is a little noisy.
30/11/2024: Jour de Marché seduced us with its setting, its particularly friendly staff and of course its Saint Joseph and its cuisine. The latter combines the elegance of the tableware with the successful presentation of the dish. Lots of flavors and originality in the different dishes tasted, delicious products (mullet: a marvel!) and a high-end all-vanilla dessert: all this for good value for money. We highly recommend this restaurant.
