Poulet d enfer sur Lens

We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it. From the welcome to the service, everything was perfect. And the meat was incredibly tender!

Following a sporting event, we went to this restaurant on a Sunday at lunchtime after checking its overall rating… and it was well deserved! Our table was set up on the outdoor terrace since the weather was sunny and still summery, but the owner was kind enough to ask if that was alright with us. A high chair was offered for a young child and a booster seat for a slightly older one, and the parasols were adjusted—perfect! Once we were seated and the menus were handed out, the owner literally explained the origin of the poultry, the fresh produce, the fact that 98% of the menu items are homemade (except for the ice cream and donuts), and the fact that they work with local suppliers—we approve! Half of our group was there just for a drink, but, charmed by the menu, the ladies all stayed to eat with us! Upon arrival of the dishes, it was immediately clear that the quality was excellent. The promise was fulfilled, and we devoured every last bite (I chose the quarter of grilled yellow chicken with thyme, a true delight). The waiter even checked during our meal to ensure we were satisfied and if we needed anything else. Then came the desserts, and the same was true – no one was disappointed (French toast-style brioche, vanilla ice cream, salted caramel: very good and well-balanced). The bill came to under €80 for two adult meals and one child's meal, including a small (and well-deserved) tip. We will gladly return to your restaurant if we are ever back in the Lens area. Please don't change a thing; it was perfect for us.

Rediscovered after more than 10 years! The place has been completely renovated... absolutely beautiful. As for the food, the menu is simple but effective, featuring succulent chicken prepared in all its forms 😋 And I mustn't forget the fantastic service! My only complaint is the music 😜 I'll be back! 😍
