I arrived very early, giving me time to eat before my train. I was served by Guy, who gave me a warm and friendly welcome. He offered me a glass of water and made sure everything was alright. What a pleasure to find such values of hospitality, respect, and customer care in a business. Today, these simple gestures make all the difference. Guy is the friendliest person at Gare de Lyon. After learning we were 45 minutes late, he brightened our visit to the ready-to-eat food counter with his smile, good humor, and friendliness.

I received a very warm welcome this morning, and just for a large coffee, a tall employee with long hair served me and escorted me to my table – a fantastic and very friendly employee.

The coffee is good and strong. The available fruit is a nice touch, and the service from Fatima and Berlusconi is much appreciated.

The place is easily accessible right at the entrance to the train station and is large enough to accommodate quite a few people. You can eat in; there's only one area dedicated to food, with tables and chairs.
Personally, I had a delicious Cheddar Chutney sandwich for €6.50 and a warm, soft cookie for €3.

I discovered a selection of salads that were quite substantial, generously filled, and well-prepared. The price is admittedly rather high, but the quality is definitely there. The fruit salad was also very good.
