Proximite - La Pause Royale sur Blois

My partner and I booked the day before for my birthday meal, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The foie gras starter was excellent, the meat was good, and the portions were very generous. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely return if we are ever in Blois again. 🙂

Overall, good and tasty! Simple but good food, especially the fries and the croque monsieur, and the steak tartare was excellent. A bit more salad on the plate would have been appreciated. However, a cleaner carafe, particularly one without mold stains on the stopper, would have been welcome. The desserts were a mixed bag. The brownie was very good, but the Dame Blanche was disappointing due to the presence of Nutella-type spread instead of traditional chocolate. The cream puffs didn't seem to have thawed properly; they were very hard. The staff were friendly during our visit.

Excellent welcome and service, very good meal, set menu of main course and dessert for €17.50. Very reasonable value for money. Pleasant location between the magic show, the carousel, and the Château de Blois. I recommend it.

More than a bar!! This was the only restaurant we could find in the centre of Blois, in August, serving real French cuisine!! (When in France ...!!) Really good food, right in front of the Chateau de Blois. Recommended.

I ate there for lunch today (set menu) and frankly, for the price of 17 cents, we weren't disappointed. The main course and dessert were good! Let's compare apples to apples: good, quick service, everything I ask for at that price. Not disappointed, I recommend it!
