Quai Ouest sur Saint-Cloud

The waiter was great. We came with the children, and he immediately offered to serve them at the same time as the appetizers (no, not all of them have that kind of common sense). There was also a drawing activity and crayons available for the children. The white sangria was amazing. The dishes were good and simple. We also came to see Chef Alexy, so it was a bit disappointing not to have met him.

A wonderful Place in lovely Paris

The meal started off very well with unusual cocktails and appetizers. The rest of the meal was much more ordinary for our taste, but perhaps we expected too much from a pop-up restaurant, given the chef's appearance on the TV show Top Chef. We did encounter an unusual problem: a blackened octopus tentacle, clearly left under the flame for too long. After sending the plate back, it returned with the tentacle removed and the following comment: "We simply removed the overcooked tentacle because you were served too much." I must admit, I've never seen anything like it in a restaurant!

Upon arrival, the atmosphere by the water was lovely, and the welcome, while a bit shy, was pleasant. The aperitif cocktails were good, but less flavorful than promised on the menu. The menu and value for money were quite satisfactory, although we were expecting more zest in the dishes, with bolder flavors. Was this intentional? On the other hand, the service was inconsistent, with some servers being friendly and others very distant. There was no explanation of the dishes, no wine service, and no feedback. Similarly, upon our departure, we received no consideration; we were simply another table. I wish Chef Alexy all the best and hope he finds his path in line with the generous and sincere temperament he demonstrated on Top Chef. See you again soon, no doubt!

A fantastic Catalan experience! A holiday right in the heart of Paris ☺️😎 We came for lunch and ordered Alexy's set menu (€45 per person, drinks not included). We loved discovering the chef's reimagined specialties from Perpignan and the South of France. Thanks again for the warm welcome and the delicious food. One small drawback: we just missed the chef's close call and couldn't capture the moment ☺️ what a shame

Warm welcome, approachable and helpful staff, lovely wood decor, pleasant setting. Perfect service. Good menu, delicious dessert, meats undercooked.

Deserves its title of "pop-up restaurant" Review from a table of 8: - The setting is superb. - Chef Alexy's cuisine is uneven: the dishes all have the merit of being original. Some are admirable, others disappointing and rather uninteresting. - A positive mention for our server who remembered each dish and side order. Unfortunately: - Our vegetarian guest couldn't have a starter (anchovies in romaine lettuce don't work for vegetarians). - Our two cycling guests were treated like outcasts and almost left (it was a 10 km trip). An insufferable valet spent the evening on his smartphone while his parking lot remained completely empty, forcing cyclists (expensive e-bikes) to park unattended 50 meters away. At reception, they heard, "Indeed, we accept cars and motorized two-wheelers, but not bicycles." Oh! It's not a bicycle that pays the bill, it's a cyclist, and that's your customer. Or rather, it used to be. The people who greeted us yesterday weren't even born when we first went there (because there were no senior managers in the dining room or at reception). That was the last time. The definitive end of our presence at Quai Ouest.

Exceptional value for money in this area. Pleasant and efficient service... It's a shame it's so temporary 😢
