Wrong order perceived by my girlfriend. We questioned one of the employees, Joffrey, about this, who quickly gave us the correct order with all his apologies. A very good element for Burger King Carcassonne.

Le Patio de la Cité

25/02/2026: Gives off a very 1970’s zen type of vibe with it’s dark orange/black decor and furnishings. Very clean and quiet. Incredible view of the walls. The room faced a small garden. A stones throw walking distance to the Cité Médiévale gate.
19/02/2026: We had booked a room at the Hôtel l'Octroi, very close to the ramparts (a 2-minute walk). It was being renovated when we arrived, and we were relocated to the Hôtel Charmes et Design, even closer (just 1 minute from the ramparts), and we also benefited from the advantages of the Hôtel Montmorency, which belongs to the same group. Free spa, parking (for a fee), and a very complete breakfast served at the table (eggs, a liter of juice, pastries, etc.) – a real treat! And all this with a magnificent view of the ramparts. All the services of a 4-star hotel at the price of a 3-star. A very warm welcome, a family-run hotel with their dog, Pollux. A wonderful setting and a wonderful stay.

La taverne du chateau

13/01/2026: They don't take reservations, so when we finished visiting the castle, we went back to this restaurant for lunch. We ordered the typical cassoulet, onion soup, and entrecote steak with potatoes, all for two people, and yes, it was a lot, but we didn't regret it at all because everything was delicious. That said, we didn't have room for dessert. We really liked the restaurant, the service was very friendly, and the food, as I said, was a 10/10, so I recommend it. We also didn't think it was too expensive for everything we ate. Oh! And the wine! What a delicious wine! We didn't order any particular one; we drank the house wine.
09/01/2026: Very happy we stopped in here for lunch. They had a fixed price menu for €19 that was fantastic. Very filling and home-style cooking.
