We came 1 year ago, this weekend, because of bad weather most of the reservations had been canceled, knowing that it was our first experience in a shelter, the caretaker gave us a dormitory all to ourselves! In addition, the meals were truly exceptional (crozet gratin with mushrooms, apple puddings,) not to mention the breakfast with the homemade jams was a treat! We had a wonderful weekend that we will not forget.

A refuge accessible 1 hour to 1 hour 40 minutes walk from the Burzier car park. An exceptional view of the surrounding peaks! Very pleasant service and the charcuterie/cheese platter was excellent! A memorable day 👍

Very nice refuge in a magnificent location but
Dormitory of 10 (in 2 superimposed levels), meal (soup, boiled potato and sausage, piece of cake) makes people find the asking price too high.

Lemonade is always great, but a great omelette with cheese and a huge bowl of fresh salad is second to none!

Nestled at the foot of the majestic Aravis massif, the Doran refuge is a haven of peace that captivates the senses.
From the moment we walk through the door of this mountain pasture, we are warmly welcomed and the team is attentive.
The authenticity of the mountain pasture is also reflected in its plates, local products such as Savoyard cheeses and artisanal charcuterie are delicious.
In conclusion, don't hesitate to walk through the door, you won't be disappointed!
