I spent two magnificent weekends (in autumn and winter) in the beautiful Refuge du Roc located in the Parc de la Vanoise, which I discovered, a wild place as I love them. I highly recommend this place, where you are warmly welcomed by Alexandre, the refuge keeper, and Gaspard, and where you eat delicious and sometimes surprising dishes concocted by Bjørn, the chef. I plan to return to the shelter in 2025 for a longer stay!

Comfortable refuge but minimum service: meal without the shadow of a vegetable (terrine-diot-potato-cream) not easily digestible, bar closed from 8 p.m. at the end of dinner... doors closed at 9 p.m.! Very expensive therefore compared to other refuges in Vanoise... and not very kids friendly. Great breakfast.

Nice location and quite comfortable rooms. First stop for our group on a tour of the Vanoise glaciers. Reception on the terrace ok, but evening meal and breakfast not sufficient in quantity. Rushed service, no time to finish the plate that was cleared. The boss is unpleasant. Fortunately the boss is nice. It's not a refuge atmosphere, too bad!

We had our own room which was nice. Large refuge with lovely people. We were very late due to car problems and they provided us with an amazing meal once we arrived. Definitely recommend.

Charmant endroit très bien tenu , très accueillant . Personnel très agréable qui prend le temps de discuter avec nous . Planche de fromages et fromage blanc très copieux et très bon .

Très belle découverte . Un personnel très à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Très bonne cuisine. Les patrons très chaleureux . Je vous recommande cet établissement.

27/08/2024: A very nice bar, where the welcome and the atmosphere are great! Thanks to the server (??) multicolored and sunny! We came 4 times, and haven't tried any other bar in Pralognan because we liked this one better!

13/08/2024: A family hotel like no other: impeccable quality, warm welcome from the owners and tasty and elaborate cuisine. This is a change from standardized and impersonal hotel chains. THANKS !
