A very comfortable mountain refuge that has retained its authentic charm. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The owner is passionate and enthusiastically shares the history of the refuge. Excellent fondue. Good value for money. Perfect conditions with over 2 meters of snow outside. Magical!

An incredible experience at the Refuge du Tornieux! What a pleasure to enjoy a delicious porcini mushroom fondue after the hike to the refuge and then sledding back down 🛷. A return to childhood, and we couldn't be happier! Thank you to the whole team for this timeless moment! 😍

A superb experience. After an easy hour's walk on a well-maintained trail, you find yourself alone in front of this magnificent mountain refuge. The welcome, service, and food are all top-notch. As a bonus, you can sled back down the same trail.

We had a wonderful time at the refuge with friends: the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the mushroom fondue and blueberry tart were excellent, and the dormitories were very cozy and comfortable! Well done to the team who are very friendly, helpful, and super efficient ☺️
