Everything was delicious. Especially the potato fritters. Very filling. The natural surroundings were beautiful. We were very comfortable.

Always wonderful to eat at altitude. But the cuisine is very basic and quite expensive.

A corner of paradise nestled in the mountains. Time stands still here. We just enjoy ourselves and let ourselves go. A friendly and attentive team. The climb is well worth the trip.

We celebrated our wedding at the Tornieux refuge on July 12th. We warmly recommend this venue and the entire team of this magnificent place who helped make this day magical. The refuge is an exceptional place, out of time, the food is of exceptional quality, as local as it is tasty (you can even taste salad from their garden), and the staff is attentive and warm. We had a great time, the bougnettes, the charcuterie and the blueberry tart met all our expectations and beyond, and we were amazed by the quality of the wine of honor buffet, of great diversity, finesse and once again delicious: raw vegetables, thin vegetable tarts, spreads ... We were delighted as well as our guests, so we highly recommend the Tornieux refuge for all your festive events. We thank Damien and his team infinitely for the quality of their service, their professionalism and their kindness. Le Tornieux is a magnificent chalet where it's a pleasure to live, eat, sleep, and escape. We're posting this review because, from the bride and groom to the guests, everyone was amazed at how comfortable they felt there.

Rustic cuisine with a unique menu: salad, charcuterie plate, and potato rosti + cheese + dessert for €25 one lunchtime during our visit. The food is very greasy and quite "basic," but it's good, and the portions are very generous. The location is magnificent, accessible both on foot and by bike. And the chalet is also very beautiful. There are deckchairs for napping under the trees. It's essential to make a reservation, as they were always full.
