The check-in process was lengthy and difficult for many. There was confusion about the deposit. There was no hot water, but they do have a shower, which apparently doesn't work often. The food is decent, the bar closes very early, and if you have to leave your backpack in the garage but sleep on the top floor, this is very annoying.

Amazing stay at this refuge - the views! Exactly what it says on the tin - amazing location; clean; super efficient; good food and nice packed lunch :) will defo come and stay again

07/02/2026: We just stopped by in the summer for lunch and the setting and the food were really lovely!
07/09/2025: I've been to many refuges. And this one, for its team, its very warm welcome, and the best food I've ever tasted in a refuge, breaks all records. We easily forget the lack of water. Congratulations to you for this optimal management. Thanks to the team, good luck for the end of the season and looking forward to the next one!
