Relais D'Alsace Taverne KARLSBRAU sur Saumur

The food was very good and beautifully presented.

As a regular Friday lunchtime customer, I appreciate the Tavern where the food is good.

As a regular customer, I really appreciate the place.

Excellent service and value for money

Welcoming and smiling, it's always a pleasure to come for lunch here.

We discovered this restaurant quite by chance, having walked past it several times without really noticing it. We booked online, requesting a quiet table if possible. They did everything they could to accommodate our request. The food was excellent and plentiful. It was very good value for money. We ordered three set menus, each including foie gras, pike-perch fillet, and dessert (tarte tatin, ice cream sundae, and fruit sundae). We highly recommend them all. The staff was very friendly and professional. A word of caution for those who want to eat quickly: choose the right days or times (or ask when booking), because when the restaurant is full, there's bound to be a bit of a wait between courses. Personally, this didn't bother us, as we had already started to feel full from their delicious foie gras. A special mention for the chef: The sauce accompanying the fish was delicious. Perhaps you could make it a little thicker so it coats the fish more generously. And so that we can enjoy it even more.

A very warm welcome... very pleasant staff... excellent food... excellent service... superb dessert... 👍

Great restaurant. Friendly, calm, and very good service. Very pleasant staff.

I am leaving this review only so that I can participate in the game which is on the restaurant tables, but as I have not yet started my meal I cannot judge either the service or the food.

We had a great time and discovered a new fish (bonito), we thoroughly enjoyed it!
