If you're very hungry and craving an excellent traditional couscous, head straight to Relais de Bretagne in Boulogne-Billancourt. All the ingredients are excellent, with plenty of semolina, vegetables, and a variety of meats.

What can I say? Areski and Rima welcomed us with open arms. The food was hearty and generous; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The portions were generous, and the meat was tender and succulent. The icing on the cake was the homemade mint tea – a delight! ❤️

Lively, welcoming, generous and value for money in the 16th arrondisement - what more could you want… They don’t mind you just coming in for a drink whether bad French or not - ‘bien sur!’ - and even as you are seated, put down a plate of olives and another giant platter of frites and mergez sausage ‘gratuit’ as is the custom. Will crack open a good bottle as part of their pichet offerings - and then leave you be. Madame in charge is a live wire, the place is always buzzing, there’s conversation and laughter, their couscous serving could feed an army - and this is even before you ask for their couscous Royale... A wonderful place at the end of a long day - bless you all!

The welcome is warm; I've been going there for two years now during the French Open, and the staff are always very pleasant and attentive. I almost feel like I'm eating at a family's house.
