In the middle of this immense plateau, under a beautiful sun, we had a very pleasant time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The aligot service alone is worth the detour!
Lake managed by an association under the responsibility of the Fishing Federation. Numerous picnic tables, and the opportunity to enjoy coffee or sodas outdoors. Volunteers are always available.
Open only in summer.
The lake is emptied every September through a system of locks and refilled in June. It is fed by three different springs.
A magnificent location.
Excellent Aligot. The aligot is prepared for 8 p.m., so everyone eats at the same time. The chef comes by several times to refill the plates. On his third visit, I was so full that I gave up.
We expect a haunt known to locals and we are not disappointed! Aperitif on the terrace with a generous platter of Aubrac charcuterie, served with a smile at a very reasonable price.
