One of the few restaurants we hadn't visited in the more than 20 years we've been coming to Riquewihr. During the Christmas markets, finding a table is a real challenge, but this time we were lucky. A pleasant surprise with excellent traditional dishes, a lovely atmosphere, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

A well-located restaurant, the upstairs area is cozy. Welcoming staff. The foie gras starter was quite good and well-presented, but the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations.

For potatoes with Munster cheese and bacon at €21.50 and a measly green salad, the price is exorbitant! Because honestly, potatoes don't cost much! And the dressing could have been homemade.

We had a lovely time at this restaurant during the Christmas market season 🙏🏻💫✨🕯️☀️ The staff and owners are very friendly; we even had a chat on the terrace after our meal ☺️ We enjoyed a delicious sauerkraut and received excellent wine recommendations 🙏🏻 Bonus: our digital holiday vouchers were accepted, and they even explained how they work 💪🏻 I highly recommend this establishment, which welcomed us despite the crowds everywhere 😉😘

Reception, services and quality, it has it all.

A very nice little restaurant. We had the duck menu for 34 euros. The starter and dessert were excellent, however, the main course needed improvement in terms of cooking. In the end, 34 euros was a bit pricey. The waitress was very friendly, but the poor woman, being alone and managing the entire upstairs area of ​​the restaurant, was constantly running around, so we had a long wait. Being on the weekend, this didn't bother us too much, but... However, there was a major drawback, and I really hope it was just a simple mistake due to the high volume of customers, but we ordered two glasses of late harvest wine, which, upon arrival, was not at all the case. The wine was dry and very pale. I asked the waitress to see the bottle because it couldn't possibly be late harvest. My intuition was correct; it was a mistake with the bottle. The waitress corrected it, but it's surprising who could have made such a mistake, but well... to err is human.

A truly friendly and welcoming welcome. Smooth and hassle-free service. Dishes arrived at the right time and were truly delicious. For starters, the warm goat cheese on a nice, hot toast was perfect and didn't runny, which is important. For main course, the fish and chips were well presented, with fries that were neither too hot nor too cold. A great experience, both in terms of the atmosphere and the food, as well as the service. I'll keep this place in mind for my future trips to Alsace and I highly recommend it 😊
