We had the broth menu... Um, how to put it... For starters, the deviled eggs, well, we could see there was mayonnaise, but the yolks... The Alsatian sausage salad deserved a presentation that made you want to get closer, the Grandma's sauerkraut served with spaetzle, okay, it could have been nice if they hadn't been swimming in cabbage after being sautéed, all garnished with a few bits of sausage, and I mean BITS, and then of course we got all the pieces of meat with the cartilage, my wife and I had a good laugh because we thought we had been served the leftovers from the other tables (in hindsight, maybe we were right) we won't even mention the dessert which was of the same ilk. Basically, the menu was like a very bad canteen. I gave it 3 stars because the service was decent and the setting was nice. We are also restaurant owners and we think it would be better to change the menus and train the kitchen staff.

We were drawn by the smell that filled the street and we were unsure what to try, so the very kind lady who works there was very kind and let us taste some of her specialties, and at that point we made a clear choice of what to buy. We even had some things wrapped up for us and packed them in our suitcases to give as gifts to our family.
I recommend trying the pastries made with coconut flour and baked on the spot; there are also other flavors without the coconut flour base. The macarons are also delicious; I've tried some flavors but I've never tried them before, and there's a lemon dessert that literally drove me crazy.

We came to your restaurant to celebrate New Year's Eve on December 31, 2025. From the speed of service and the quality of the food to the warm welcome and the atmosphere, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! We had a wonderful time, which contributed to a magical evening and a perfect end to 2025.

I ordered the broth menu, and the sauerkraut that was served was very surprising... I didn't appreciate the small pieces of cured meat placed on top of the cabbage...
And the presentation wasn't very good.

Excellent service, a warm welcome, and traditional Alsatian cuisine. A delightful discovery at Relais de Riquewihr.
A waiter, Aurélien, was attentive, very friendly, and welcoming, and he even agreed to change the filling on my vol-au-vent. I don't like starchy foods, so I asked for vegetables instead, a wish he granted, and I was truly delighted.
Everything was delicious, and Aurélien was absolutely fantastic—very welcoming and attentive to all the customers, which was really appreciated!
The smiles, the speed, the quality of the food—everything was perfect.
I highly recommend this restaurant, and congratulations again to Aurélien!

The Relais de Riquewihr has a menu with many local specialities - including casseroles and spaetzel dishes.
We had the onion soup as an entrée and Speatzel with Munster cheese as a main course - both were delicious!
The restaurant is cosy and tables are set close together making for a pleasant atmosphere.
Not too expensive and hearty meals!
