The ice cream was still excellent, but the service was awful: a waitress practically threw the menu at customers without even greeting them, resulting in customers leaving... service needs serious improvement.

This is truly the best ice cream shop in Lyon. When you order coffee ice cream, it's pure, raw coffee, plain and simple. When you order ginger ice cream, it's pure, raw ginger. So, thank you! Real cuisine is truly in Lyon. So many good memories at Nardone. THANK YOU!

Hello, this ice cream shop is very well-regarded. The only downside is that the almonds are whole instead of sliced, which is a shame. The service was excellent, thank you, have a good day.

Disappointed a few years ago by the quality of the ice cream, the inefficient service, and the sometimes unpleasant waiters, we returned several times this year with renewed pleasure to what remains a true Lyon institution! Don't miss the red praline flavor.

The service was ALMOST instant! 2/3/4 servers with their trays. I had to move mine... AFTER a while / or / a CERTAIN while! Make of that what you will. The flavors are (very!) numerous, and the PRICES live up to their "REPUTATION." A WORD TO THE WISE... CHEERS!

14/06/2026: Bangkok Royal, We wanted to send you a quick message to tell you how much we appreciate your restaurant. My father and I have been coming regularly for over 15 years now, and we are always welcomed with great kindness and attentiveness. On our last visit, my father simply noticed that a sprig of mint was missing from the spring rolls, but it didn't spoil our enjoyment at all. As always, we had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We are particularly devoted to our little ritual: the lamb Massaman, which we have loved for all these years! Thank you for your continued hospitality, your delicious food, and the wonderful times we share with you. We will be back very soon with great pleasure. Kaffee Berlin

01/05/2026: Well... It's hard to be objective, given my passion for all things German. As soon as there's a German place in France, I'm there in a flash. The staff (waiters and baristas) are incredibly attentive; it's lovely to receive such genuine hospitality. The drinks menu is extensive (classic cocktails, German-style cocktails, and plenty of German beers). The food menu is varied: German snacks (sausages, charcuterie boards) and the current trends: bagels and burgers. I was a little disappointed with the desserts; nothing particularly authentic except for the apple strudel. The music is soft electronic, at a decent volume. The decor is in the Berlin style, with items from there; spread over two floors, beautifully done, with framed pictures and pieces of German culture on the walls. And some clever creative touches (check out the pendant lights above the bar ;) Price: reasonable (expect to pay around €13 for a bagel and a drink). Clientele: mixed, mostly in their thirties
26/04/2026: Great restaurant, good atmosphere. The waitress, Inès, was fantastic for my friend and me.
