I was extremely disappointed this time. My evening was ruined by two things. My ham hock was completely dried out and black. It still sits heavy in my stomach. And the other diners were completely drunk. The man was yelling at the woman, and none of the staff reacted. Disgusted, we left without ordering dessert. How is it that you allow drunk people into your establishment? You're taking a huge risk...it's a real shame!

This restaurant is truly fantastic. The food is excellent (Munster ravioli, Riesling soup, coq au vin, etc.), and the portions are very generous. The decor is also superb. And the staff is very kind to babies. It's a good idea to call ahead to reserve space for your stroller.

Finally, some good sauerkraut! The place is warm and authentic. The service is efficient. I was disappointed by the dessert, a rather bland iced kugelhopf.

Superb Alsatian restaurant. The calf's head is extraordinary…the staff are very attentive…and the atmosphere of the dining room immerses you in Alsatian culture…I highly recommend it.
