Restaurant à l'homme sauvage sur Wissembourg

We come to this restaurant regularly, especially for its Alsatian specialties, my husband really likes the baeckeoff, the ham brewed in beer, I really like the tartes flambées, the drinks are cheaper than in other restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant is surprising but I find it cool. The boss is very nice as is his waitress. I had forgotten the delicious goat cheese salad. Large terrace when it's not raining.

Cozy rural restaurant with typical food and drinks

Hervorragender Flammkuchen, der Wein war gut der Service top und sehr freundlich. Für uns sehr hilfreich, deutsch war kein Problem. Wir würden wieder hingehen.

We had a very nice evening with various delicious dishes (including dessert) and drinks. Prices are absolutely okay! The owners are very nice and accommodating. We will visit the restaurant again before departure 😊

I'm coming back for the second time. Always satisfied. I love Alsatian salad, hearty and succulent. My companion ordered a bite to eat with the queen, served with Spätzle, a treat!

Delicious food. We had all eaten tarte flambée, but the dishes at the neighboring tables all looked good too. The service was very friendly. When the restaurant was full, it was too much for two people, so we unfortunately had to wait an hour for the coffee and the bill. Therefore a star deduction. The ambience is simple and rustic. Price-performance top. We'll definitely be back!

Honestly nothing to say, very good meal as always

First the food: Great, I had a tarte flambée and it was excellent as well as the dessert (banana tarte flambée with cinnamon) was simply super delicious!! The only thing that bothered me personally was the music, it's not for everyone. I would recommend that the owner try a different kind of music, maybe something without singing and not too fast and hectic like his was. Overall, good 4 stars!

Exzellente Küche, freundliche Bedienung und nette Atmospäre. Die Qualität der Speisen super, der Chef sehr emphatisch. Einfacch super. Wir waren schon mehrfach dort, wenn wir einen Stop in Wissembourg machen. Klasse!
