A superb discovery! Our last night on our 2026 leg of the GR10, a hotel-restaurant like they used to make. Admittedly, the rooms are a bit dated, but sometimes that's what makes them special! An authentic setting, an authentic owner, authentic cuisine.
The food is worthy of a master chef, the service is top-notch, everything is done to satisfy the customer, even if you don't ask for much.
We will definitely be back to eat or stay.

A very warm welcome and rooms offering the amenities one would expect from a 2-star hotel. The restaurant's dishes are excellent, and I mean it. Finally, how could I not mention Brigitte, the vivacious owner of the establishment, so charming and with a great sense of humor!

We have very fond memories of our stay at the Hotel Restaurant de l’Amoulat. It's a quiet and very clean hotel. We met Brigitte, who is a lovely and very friendly person! The breakfast is very generous and the cuisine is refined. We will gladly return.

A wonderful discovery in Gourette! The cuisine was delicious, refined, and bursting with flavor.
Each dish was as beautiful as it was tasty, with a presentation worthy of a gourmet restaurant.
The ingredients were showcased perfectly, and the service was warm and welcoming.

We stayed a night here after a long hike on the GR10 and received the warmest welcome. The rooms are clean and charmingly retro. The confit du canard was amazing, as were the delicious aperitifs we were given to start. Someone who works here really knows how to cook!! The egg salad from the hiker's picnic was one of the culinary highlights of our trip. Bridgette was a warm and charismatic host and we would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful dinner. The dishes were excellent, the desserts delicious, and the service quick and very friendly.
It's always a pleasure to dine here, summer or winter, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gourette.

The services at this impeccably clean hotel are exactly what you'd expect from a 2-star establishment.
However, I would give 5 stars to the restaurant and its chef, Jean-Luc, who creates delicious cuisine using fresh, local ingredients with a touch of creativity that makes all the difference. Brigitte's service is attentive and efficient. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in the resort, perhaps even in the Ossau Valley! Thank you!
