A very warm welcome, a remarkable table d'hôte featuring local produce, and everything is homemade. The rooms are simple, very clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional; even the pastries are homemade.

The services at this impeccably clean hotel are exactly what you'd expect from a 2-star establishment. However, I would give 5 stars to the restaurant and its chef, Jean-Luc, who creates delicious cuisine using fresh, local ingredients with a touch of creativity that makes all the difference. Brigitte's service is attentive and efficient. Without a doubt, the best place to stay in the resort, perhaps even in the Ossau Valley! Thank you! Guy Bop

Perfect place for an overnight stay on the GR10. The rooms are fine, everything you need. The welcome is extremely warm and the food is simply amazing, both the à la carte dinner and the very extensive breakfast. A reason to come back here.

Four thirsty bikers in search of a good place to eat. Brigitte welcomed us warmly and opened her hotel-restaurant two days before its official opening. We enjoyed a very good aperitif of spritz. Dinner was a delight for the palate. After a restful night, we discovered an exceptional homemade breakfast, pastries baked by Jean-Luc, and excellent local ham. Brigitte took care of us as if we were family. We will definitely be back, as soon as possible.

We visited the restaurant in the summer while passing through. A wonderfully kind hostess treated us to a fantastic dinner. The food was a feast for the eyes and tasted superb. We highly recommend this restaurant!

We spent one night at this hotel to enjoy the slopes the next day. We received a very warm welcome, the room was spotless, the breakfast was excellent (homemade pastries), in short, nothing to complain about, and the owner was super friendly, thank you! Our only regret was not eating at the hotel restaurant!

Hôtel Restaurant Richelieu

17/05/2026: How can I put it… A typical biker hotel/rest stop in the region, full of charm and authenticity. The welcome is warm and friendly. The food is breathtaking: excellent, generous, and very hearty dishes. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation!
11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator). In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing. It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

28/01/2026: How long does it take to rent skis (I arrive at 10am and have an appointment at 10:30am) at La Boule de Neige for lessons? Is it possible to be on time?
