Great fresh fish dishes. It was my first time there today. I'll go again :)

Very noisy, very slow service, but the food was decent.

The prices are relatively reasonable for the location, but the same observation applies as always: the food is good, but the fish cooking needs improvement. We ordered the platter with several fish dishes, and half of them were overcooked, which was a real shame. The side dishes were excellent. The oysters were fresh, and a special mention goes to the scallop and chanterelle appetizer, which was truly perfect.

They say perfection doesn't exist. But their seafood platters are perfection.

Anyone who loves seafood absolutely has to eat here; the food is delicious and fresh, and the price is good too. We'll definitely be back, and we highly recommend it! 😍😍😍

Excellent fish restaurant, always fresh and always very well cooked. The staff are very friendly and the setting is very pretty.

Extremely disappointed. Between the interminable wait between the appetizers and the main course (an hour and fifteen minutes), the nonexistent or extremely poor service (wine served casually and spilled on the tablecloth), lukewarm dishes, and undercooked fish, I do not recommend this establishment. The value for money is more than mediocre; a meal for three people costing €240 is not worth the trip. Absolutely avoid it.

Anyone who thinks they've already eaten everything in Alsace has to offer hasn't been to Au Pont de l’Ill in La Wantzenau 😄 This restaurant is a true culinary highlight – from the moment you arrive, you feel welcome and in excellent hands. The service is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and wonderfully relaxed. Their expertise with wine and fish is particularly impressive: they don't just serve food, they advise with genuine passion. The recommendations are spot-on and make you really want to try something new 🍷🐟 The whole experience is a culinary delight. The fish is of outstanding quality, cooked to perfection, and wonderfully seasoned – you can immediately tell that true professionals are at work. And then there are the frog legs… delicate on the outside, succulent on the inside, simply superb in flavor 🐸✨ If you don't try them, you're missing out! In short: excellent cuisine, superb service, and a lot of heart and skill. A restaurant you'll not only visit, but gladly recommend – and one you'll definitely return to. We'll be back. Very soon.
