Alsatian restaurant that I recommend. Located in this magnificent village of Eguisheim, undoubtedly the most beautiful in Alsace! The welcome is very friendly, the waiter is efficient, with a certain sense of humor, efficient and attentive to customers. The owner at the bar is a real ray of sunshine! Smiling, extremely friendly and positive and also showing humor! As for the dishes served, what can I say, excellent! To tell the truth, you feel really good in this restaurant, unlike many other establishments located in the main surrounding tourist villages, which are like tourist traps... A big thank you to the entire team at the Auberge des Trois Châteaux, we will definitely come back!

Restaurant alsacien que je recommande. Situé dans ce magnifique village d’Eguisheim, sans doute le plus beau d’Alsace ! L’accueil est fort sympathique, le serveur est efficace, doté d’un humour certain, efficace et à l’écoute de la clientèle. La patronne au bar est un véritable rayon de soleil ! Souriante, extrêmement aimable et positive et faisant également preuve d’humour ! Quant aux mets servis, que dire, excellents ! A vrai dire, on se sent vraiment bien dans ce restaurant, contrairement à bien d’autres établissement situés dans les principaux villages touristiques alentours, qui s’apparentent à des pièges à touristes… Un grans merci à toute l’équipe de l’auberge des trois châteaux, nous reviendrons sans nul doute !

We only ate here but it was damn good. Here you also have the opportunity to try unusual specialties (for me it was frog legs). The service was very good and accommodating.

We enjoy a play djour menu here. Local dishes which included a yummy onion tarts (think quiche style) a mixed meat grand meres pie, and very strong sorbet. Lovely ambience with only one table free on a Thursday evening. Good friendly service and would recommend

I will only note the restaurant part. We opted for 2 Stub menus at €31 and a classic children's menu. The children's menu consists of a chicken escalope in cream with spätzle and a cup of chocolate/vanilla ice cream. The children's menu is relatively simple for €15 and disappointing in the dessert offering with industrial ice cream. I expected artisanal ice cream in this type of establishment. The Stub menu includes Alsatian ham, chicken supreme with mushrooms accompanied by spaetzle and white cheese cake. The starter was simple but the ham was tasty. The dish itself was a bit disappointing. For €22 on the plate as noted on the menu, I thought I would have a little more work. The dish consisted only of a chicken supreme placed on a mushroom sauce with a few mushrooms and spätzle. The quality of the chicken is good (firm flesh, thigh with muscle) but the sauce is not very exciting (visual, taste). I don't like spätzle but that is subjective and has no bearing on the restaurant. The dessert portion was a bit too small. The correct white cheesecake without a wow effect (too dense texture, bland taste). I think the Spanish tarta de queso recipe is tastier and softer in comparison. Quite simply because the quality of the ingredients and the garnish is more elaborate. The bill remains a little difficult to swallow in terms of the price for relatively accessible ingredients and fairly light kitchen work. At 20€-30€ per plate, we generally get a luxury cuisine with work on the plate (presentation, taste, cooking). This evening's proposal seemed below what was expected in similar prices. My feeling after eating is that it is an interesting place for tourists but the culinary offering is quite ordinary. If you're looking to get off the beaten track, I think you can find something more original in the village.
